14 Western Washington Nurses Recognized by the March of Dimes
The March of Dimes Washington Chapter held its 8th annual Western Washington Nurse of the Year Awards in Bellevue. This celebration recognizes local nurse professionals for their outstanding patient care.
Western Washington staff RNs were awarded and recognized for their achievement in fourteen categories. This years winners include:
• Patient/Clinical Care – Nelson Monastrial, Harrison Medical Center
• Leadership – Gayle Lanier, Snohomish Health District
• Education – Brenda Neuman, Swedish Edmonds
• Innovation/Creativity – Sarah Baumann McMorris, Overlake Hospital Medical Center
• Research/Advancing the Profession – Dawn Corl, Harborview Medical Center
• Advocacy for Patients – Sarah Reid, PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center
• Community Service – Eileen Reichert, Seattle Children’s
• Mentoring – Molly Ruddy, Seattle Children’s
• School Nurse – Cathi Woolley, Snoqualmie Valley School District
• Rising Star – Christine Anderson, St. Joseph Medical Center, Franciscan Health Systems
• New Generation – Robin Agnew, University of Washington School of Nursing
